American Stories grew out of my curiosity about people and the places they call home. I travel across America with a camera, meeting people from all walks of life and letting them tell their stories in their own words. Sometimes it’s a rancher, a craftsman or someone keeping an old tradition alive; other times it’s a small town, a piece of history or simply a person with a story worth hearing. There’s no agenda and no script telling people what they’re supposed to say. I listen, ask questions and let the story take us where it will.
