Paul Winters is an American film and stage actor with a career spanning more than four decades. Trained in Los Angeles for many years with legendary acting teacher Jeff Corey, Winters has worked extensively in both film and theater.

In the late 1990s, Winters was an original member of Zoo District, the acclaimed Los Angeles ensemble theater company known for its daring, highly imaginative productions and extraordinary concentration of acting, writing, and design talent. Zoo District became one of the city’s most celebrated experimental theater companies, earning dozens of Ovation, Garland, and LA Weekly awards and nominations. Winters performed in many Zoo District productions, including the company’s very first production, The Descent, in 1997. His stage work also includes portraying General George Armstrong Custer in the play Custer at the Ventura Civic Center.

Most recently, Winters stars as Tash Beckett, an aging gunfighter seeking redemption in the Western feature Bountiful.
